Sponsorships of worthy charitable causes in the community are a great way to convey SES corporate values, and we’ve long been a supporter of Enduring Hearts – a charity non-profit specializing in children recovering from heart transplants. Now, in the face of Covid, Enduring Hearts has launched an online, 17-day, virtual Race for Resilience event. SES is helping underwrite the event as a sponsor. Once the “race” begins on Sept 13, participants can choose their level of challenge and start logging their walk, run, or biking distances online – with an ideal goal of hitting 1,700 kilometers (1,056 miles) in 17 days. The duration was chosen to signify the number of years in childhood, given how proceeds will go toward vital research aimed at making child heart transplants last much longer into adulthood. Full details are here. Thanks for helping SES support Enduring Hearts as the only non-profit focused on the often-overlooked research needed to help eliminate rejection, prevent life-threatening complications, and improve the quality of life for all children living with a new heart!

SES Corporation is proud to announce we’ve been awarded a prime contract for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Technical Support at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Working with CBP’s Office of Information and Technology, SES is providing dedicated advisory support for cloud infrastructure, computing, and migration – including baseline analysis and assistance in developing future state AWS architecture, migration, security, governance, and operating plans. Thanks to everyone on the SES team who helped secure this exciting new contract! It’s a tremendous win to engage with a new customer like this as a prime; and it’s the kind of project overall that helps further cement our reputation – particularly in federal, at scale – as a knowledgeable and dedicated cloud modernization partner! |
